Dermaplaning is used on individuals with rough textured skin, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles. Dermaplaning is also popular amongst individuals with excess facial hair. This hair can cause a build-up of dirt and oil in the hair follicles; removing the hair gives the patient healthier looking skin.
The skin might appear slightly flushed at first, but the redness typically disappears within a few hours. We advise that you keep your skin protected from the sun following your treatment, and look forward to a smooth, glowing appearance.
